We are presently living in a hyperconnected world, where telecommunications play a central role in the everyday life of all EU citizens, all EU companies, and all EU governments. Cybersecurity has therefore become a priority for all our societies.
Therefore, we believe that quantum key distribution (QKD) is an important tool in the toolbox of cybersecurity, especially to secure the transmission of classified information and to be ready to face the threat of future quantum computers. Read more about the project.
